another Favre miracle play
Did you see that? are you kidding me?
Stumbling, almost falling face first in the snow, he flips one underhand for a first down on the 4 yard line as he's falling and it leads to a score. |

That's my boy! Rough start, but nice comeback. The Pack is FIRED up and Brett's smiling. I will say that I'm impressed with Hasselbeck. Nice arm That said, I think it will be a long, quiet flight back to Seattle.!

I"m sorry , Brady is good, but he's no Brett Favre,, more a product of the system and working for a genius... put Favre under Bellechek and he'd have 10 rings..

wow...Bellichek is 18-19 with 2 TDs...how about that sweet ball fake. Bellicheck is really accurate with his throws tonight. Thats some system. Maybe he will win his 4th ring this year.
No disrespect to Farve, but he is the all time leader in interceptions as well as TDs...and with the exception of this season has been really erratic in recent seasons. Also, his teams have only won 1 SB... which is great, but not near the best. Ranking him 3rd was generous, but he is right up there in the top 5 for sure. |

I may be biased as I grew up in Minnesota, but Tarkenton belongs on any all-time top 10 list. Like Marino, he never won the big one, but Fran could carry his team and when he retired in 1978, led or was near the top of almost every QB all-time stat.
Favre is fun to watch. Someone who truly enjoys the game and it's obvious he is having the time of his life. Like Tarkenton, easy Hall of Fame material. |

[QUOTE][Steve Young with 2?/QUOTE]
I dont count the one when he was backing up Montana as "his" Regarding Bradshaw...he threw like 245 TD passes and 243 Int in his career...great QB no doubt but I take ALL things (stats, wins, Rings) into consideration here... Regarding Michigan and Brady: you stepped right into the right guy here... Brady was 20-5 as the starter at UM. He lead the team to 2 Bowl wins. (10-3 and 10-2) and wins over Penn State, ND, Ohiohate and Michiganhate. Contrary to "popular belief" (which is incorrect)...Brady took by far the majority of snaps at Michigan as QB. For example, he threw 347 passes his junior year to the backups 47...and threw 348 passes his seniour year to the backups 90. His career completion percentage was 62% and he had an excellent TD to Int ratio. In Brady's final game, he went 35-46 for 350 yards and 4 TDs vs. Alabama in the Orange Bowl. and going by your logic...he gets credit for being the backup on the 1997 National Championship Team where he earned a ring backing up Brian Griese. Why was he a 6th rounder? well...why was Joe Montana a 3rd rounder? answer...drafting is an inexact science. Did you ever hear of David Garrard or Tony Romo before they came into the league... so yeah....Brady Ripped it up at Michigan... it is not his fault that people like you didnt notice. Next Question. |

Terry H...actually I thought very hard about Tarkenton...I have him ranked 11th...he was great and when he retired was the all time leader in yards at that point and had lead his teams to 4 SBs...Great, great and underrated QB!

he earned a ring backing up Brian Griese. Oh by the way, as I recall that was a half a national championship, they split it that year, so I guess you only give him a quarter of a national championship.. . What about his ability to resemble a statue in the backfield , or don't you count mobility as an attribute.. So what year did you graduate from U of M ?? Suppose you think Chris Webber is gods gift to pot smokers, ,, oops I mean the NBA ??

Favre is still good. Fun guy to watch. That play was spectacular. I don't think he had his eyes up off the deck for more than maybe 2/10 of a second - enough time to assess, acquire his target and launch the pitch to him. One of those ones that easily could have been a pick for anyone else, or more likely a sack.

Actually there were 4 NC trophies given out in 1997, and Michigan won 3 of them.
Next question lol at the next question...everyone knows that Brady is one of the very best at moving in the pocket and finding the open throwing lane. Farve is pretty good at that too...and he is not a running QB, nor was Peyton Manning, or Dan Marino, or Joe Montana.... Brady sacked 1 time tonight...did you see the escapability on that bullet he threw to Bradshaw...damn that was sweet. PS I was under the impression that we are talking football not basketball... I enjoy playing basketball, but hate watching it... Next question. Farve is incredible and plays with a great joy and really is fun to watch no matter what he does...he is one of the few guys that youd sit through a blizzard to watch. |

Uhm Sonic, you never answered the "When did you graduate from UM" question,,
Was also wondering what part of AA you live in?? come on fess up Oh and to answer the other question,, Rick Leach was actually the biggest pot head to ever graduate from AA ( I think he was playing for Toronto when he got busted)... Although it was Chris Webber that couldn't count time outs
