I'm going to manipulate the stats a little too while we are doing so. The Steelers have 5 Super Bowl rings as do the Cowboys and Niners. Oh, wait...

I'm sure Jerry Jones made a deal with him much like Steinbrenner did with Joe Girardi. The ol' stick around kid, it will be worth your while.

As a Raven's fan I was hoping to land the guy; let's hope we made the right choice.
On the other hand, I read an article saying the Dallas offense really belonged to Spirano, at least from a scheme/strategy perspective. I guess we'll find out next season. |

I'm not sure how much Sparano had to do with the actual running of the offense. I never heard the guys here in Dallas talking about Sparano much except for that he did a great job with the O_Line (except for the last game...)

Congrats to the Giants on home field throughout. One spot left, it's ours to lose. I've no good feelings about this one.
I knew it was an old post.

Niners were first to get there.

Well, the Cowboys stunk it up in the last 5 minutes Saturday night. Romo seems to have lost his Mojo a la Austin Powers and there is no Felicity Shagwell to help him find it.
Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your perspective), the Cowboys STILL control their own destiny thanks to the Chargers and Redskins. I'm not sure whether I want this team to make the playoffs or not, they really don't deserve it and are probably just going to lose in the first round anyway. On the other hand, I don't think there is a team in the NFC that can be considered the hands down favorite to win the Conference, New York has laid a few eggs recently before winning last night, including being spanked by the Cowboys last week. Carolina is the best team I think, but they obviously are beatable given what happened last night. Arizona is a joke and Minnesota won't go anywhere. Atlanta looks decent and should make it past the first round. That leaves Dallas or Tampa, neither of which would be favored in a wildcard game. It's wide open.
