Heard that this AM. Very sad. I'm not a Steelers fan, but there's no doubting he was a legendary part of the game.
2008 sucks so far. Lots of death, misery, bleak outlooks, etc.

Dang. I was a big Steelers fan back then; I'll never forget his arrowhead haircut. Holmes was always a bit overshadowed by Joe Greene, but he was every bit the player Greene was.

Those teams of the Steelers IMHO were the best ever and Ernie was a major part of the defense.
