actually it wasn't a jail term, it was a 48-day intensive training course for the prison staff on torture, interrogation, and world-saving.

Jack didn't go to jail, he went over to reform the prison population with a 48 day speed course called "jack 101"
(it started out as a 2 day course, but he stretched it out for billing purposes)

The difference between his life and mine is that he can just blow off 48 days without batting an eye. That would be a burden for most of the rest of us.

48 days with 3 hots and a cot - no calls, no work, no nothing! If I didn;t know any better that sounds like a welcome releif for some of us. Of course I would miss the Wife and Kids - but if I was single and could be kept away from the general population for that time? Man the rest I would get....
