Just for the record:

Porsche-O-Phile and I had a little bet on the SOTU address. I wasn't even sure that I had won and he had already forwarded the $$ to me. This showed some character on his part but it did deprive me of agitating him a bit...since I was going to suggest that he give it to his favorite welfare program.

Whatever, the guy does have some class.

Thanx Jeff.

I don't think you were around for the great social experiment two years ago...

This shows that POP has too much money, and needs to do a little more redistributing.

As I am not getting the tax rebate, I'm awaiting my PayPal transfer from POP.

Hey, since POP works and I'm retired...he IS redistributing the wealth. And I accept the idea!

As for the lack of getting the "tax rebate"...I think that it's mostly called a "stimulus package" for us guys who will spend it and not for whiners like most of my kids and you who would bank it.

Or, to put it another way, during the last Bush tax cuts...my kids and you got many, many $$$thousands taken off your tax bill while us poor old guys who built this nation got so very little. Gee, maybe it's finally leveling out!
