Lunch today; What was I thinking.

I was in a hurry to get to work today so I drove through McD's for lunch. I got 2 double cheese burgers and a large fri (We have pop for free at work). It was less than $4 and I was feeling pretty good about my choices.

When I'm finishing up, I notice that the fri box has the nutritional information on it. hmmm, those fri's have a lot of fat... So I start adding things up:

Calories: 1960
Cals from Fat: 696
RDA % fat: 117%
RDA % sodium: 119%

Thant was just my lunch. And I'm not even full...

Just thought I'd share...

That's the nice thing about Rotten Ronald's: tastes the same coming up... good value that way.

I rarely go to McD's. I stopped getting fries years ago just because they are so greasy (but yummy). When I go I get a doublequarter pounder with cheese.

Don't feel too bad, I just eat 12 Rheas Hot Links. The fat content per link is about 90% - each link weighs about 1/4lb. The upside, thats the fat that will 'flow' right through ya!

I should remain regular for another week or so...

Ditto What Trekkor said. Rent "Supersize Me", and then be sure to watch the extras. You'll think twice before you ever eat another Micky D's fry.

Hey! That's one of our clients you're bustin' on! Lay off man! They're just. . . filling a need. You know? Like mortgage lenders pushing subprime. It's not their fault!

You're right, it's not the brokers fault. If you have no other options.

I eat a Big Mac about 4 times a year. Thats about enough to satisfy the need yet retain most of my "girlish figure" so to speak...

Other than that its In n Out, Burger King or best of all a home made burger on the BBQ out back!

Well, you can always console yourself in the knowledge that if you should die in an auto accident on the way home the morgue will save a bunch seeing as they can skip preserving the body.

Not the best thread to click on for me.... munching on a big mac and fries while reading this...

I'LL HAVE A SALAD FOR DINNER... NO, REALLY!

What the heck, we are all going to die. A fat McDonald meal once in a while won´t matter. The trick is to keep the total yearly amount of calories at a reasonable level.
