The Ultimate Krauts
The first picture is of the 2 penultimate Kraut pistols made. A SIG 210-6 and a Korth Combat 357
![]() In the 2nd picture will the REAL Colt Python stand up. The 2nd picture high lights the similarities between the Korth and and a Colt Python. The Korth is a bit lighter in weight than the Python. It also has some features like interchangeable cylinders, chrome lined barrel, special heat treated steel, and a general attention to detail that simply out does the Colt. However for the price difference the Korth in the end is just a glorified Colt Python and would be hard to justify unless you had money to burn for the trick-est pistol out there. The Python in the picture is NIB from the mid 60s. The Korth was made in 1983. ![]()

Swiss is a Kraut by another name...Also there is a colorbration between the Swiss and the Land of Hitler... Sig-Sauer.
Not that the Sig 210-6 is even remotely as low quality as a Sig -Sauer product. What am I even explaining this to you Boyz for, you couldn't tell the difference anyway. I will bet that none of you have even heard of Korth before I mentioned it. That just shows how ignorant you Boyz are. Americans in general are just mediocre people.

Just called Korth USA today, the price on a new Korth with extra cylinder is $12000.00, they can throw in a case otherwise its about $1000 for it. They make less than 100 per year, each gun takes 4 to 6 months to be made by hand. It is all made out of a single block of steel which is 58 on the Rockwell scale of hardness. Production is down because 2 of their employees have just retired. They have been at Korth since 1949 and are now in their late 80's. It takes 5 years of being an apprentice before they let you make a gun. Amazing stuff.

Just a question: If they are so superior, why are they copying a Colt???? Or, to put it another way, can a copy of anything ever actually be superior to the original? Just because they made in a way that will cost you over 10x the price of a Colt, does not really (necessarily) make it better, does it? Full disclosure>>> I have a Colt Trooper, and a Sig-Sauer, and a Browning 9mm Auto, and you are correct, never heard of Korth till now.

I have a 210-4 and have to agree that the quality is better than Sig-Sauers. I do like my Sig 228 and 230 though, they are better quality than most morden sidearms.
As a low browed mee-dee-okra-marican, I have never heard of a Korth and do not want to afford one. How does it shoot?

So which one is more accurate, the Korth or the Colt? Shoot a few targets and post some pics for us.

Friend of mine who has forgotten more than I will ever know about guns says the 2 BEST (most accurate) revolvers ever made are the Freedom Arms SAs and the Korth. It is the lock up and timing that make them superior.
Korth is in the same league as Purdy, Holland & Holland and Perazzi. Will those guns outshoot a Remington or Browning Citori? Is a Bentley or RR better than a MB, or BMW?

Yes, but does the bank teller you are pointing it at know it is a better gun than a Colt.
