Lets put all this stuff aside for a moment so I may pose one question.
How does being married to the president count towards being qualified to be president yourself? I've watched medical procedures many times...am I qualified to be a surgeon?

Damn good question that I can't answer. However, at least Obama doesn't posture as if he has an abundance of experience.

So lets say, for the sake of argument that their respective Senate experiences are equivalent... a genuine wash. I would rather have the outsider(Obama) than the insider. I believe that the insider(Hillary) is tainted by her pre-Senate exposure.

Obama.
I voted for him last week because in MO. we have open primaries. My man Mitt was falling away at the fourth turn so I (and many others in MO), swapped ballots to the Dark Side and voted against Hitlery. Did you wonder why (in those states with open Primaries) the media was so infatuated with how many more Dems. were turning out than Republicans? Duh!! Secret exposed. Look, Obamas campaign is all about 'feel good', made for TV, politics. IE: "OMG our FIRST clean, articulate, BLACK candidate!" We can elect him and put all those images of slavery, lynchings, high pressure hosings behind us and convince the ROW that we have seen the light and are NOT White Devils anymore. All the (guilt ridden) Hollywood crowd adores him of course and gee whiz ...what a breath of fresh air. The man can talk for hours (and say nothing of substance) and yet make the Dems. feel like JFK has ben resurrected! Hallelujah and pass the plate! The man is an empty suit. But probably a nice guy to hang out with on a Saturday.

Did you guys see Frank Luntz's focus group on Obama a week or two ago? It was pretty interesting. Luntz is the king of focus groups. Having hung out with him, I think he leans right personally, but not in his work. Anyway, he was running this focus group and was on live with Hannity and Colmes and a few others. Sean Hannity asked Luntz to ask some of his Obama supporters if they could name any of Obama's accomplishments. It was hilarious. First lady said "he was against Iraq". Second guy said "he voted for that S thing, kids' health insurance". Third guy said "he's the first African-American to be a serious contender." Next lady said "he got elected to the Senate." Next lady said "pass." Those are the most diehard Obama supporters there. Obviously, they're not real big on details. It's all feel-good rhetoric that gets them.
