Pelican white screen of death...anyone else?

for a month after Wayne updated the servers, the boards ran very fast for me. After a month in, there seems to be an ebb and flow to links. I'll click a forum, or search or a thread and it just hangs and hangs. Searching and sometimes posting will result in a white screen. Then just 30 seconds later it's back up to speed, can click around with instant refreshes.

this happen to anyone else?

I'm thinking it may have something to do with Camino. in the first month, some things didn't work for me, like uploading pics, then that worked but had to copy and paste a URL from the pic window to the post window and then the entire process started to work.

Pelican has been in turmoil on my systems for at least the last week or so. Sometimes all is fast than other times I just give up and waste my time somewhere else, or actually work.

I just performed a couple of searches and it took for ever, had the WSoD as well.

I've typed some brilliant observations only to have Pelican hang up and disappear.

Not complaining but same here. Lots of timed out connections...everyday.

I only use Camino here. So that browser is not the problem.

I wonder what kind of load spikes the server is getting, the amount of server memory or ... is it a bandwidth problem with Wayne's server???

Yea, I get that sometimes too. I normally just hit "reload" and it comes back.

At home, I can use Safari (mac). Sometimes at a place i work often, I have to use Firefox or else I get the WSOD.

Try something besides Camino. It's not always your app, but the particular network you are connected to, that will make issues.

Ditto for me too, but the refresh function always seems to bring it right up.

I get this weird 'Z-man' error.

Every time I post a picture of Margaret Thatcher nude, I get this strange, 'Edit: Removed by Z-man' error. WTF is that about?

Yes, couple times each day.

And, once a week or so, I can't get Pelican at all (just intro page w/ the P and BMW). All other favorite sites are fine.

Happens here on all of my systems...
Vista (I was blaming the crap OS) for possible network issues, but other sites worked.
OSX
Ubuntu

All with different browsers....(Camino, Firefox, Opera, IE).

All the time now and it's getting worse. Wayne has addressed the issue, but since he won't let anyone help with the problem, it's not likely to get better.
