Who needs a Mini?
Me likes. Even with the return of Alfa to America, I doubt we'll see it. Probably won't fit into the lineup with the expensive (and pure sex) 8C.

The Mi.To is 14.2" longer than a Mini? What's good about that?

It looks pretty, at least for a compact.

My experience with anything Italian - they test your soul and can easily break your heart but the ride is always worth it! If I had the cash I would seriously consider the one Matt posted - great lines. The mini wannabe isn't my cup-o-expresso.

I like it! But then I'm a sucker for Alfa's
I would like to say I would buy one... but to be realistic... at $25K? I could get a new Mazda3 for that price if I was looking for a small hatchback... or if I wanted something different maybe a really nice used Boxster, or 996 or...

I'd have trouble turning down an Alfa for slightly more than a Mazda3.

We rented this turbo Brera for a week last month while in England. Yes, I'd buy one. AWD, very well balanced, plenty of torque and quick for a diesel! Ran it hard for a week and did not use 1/2 a tank of fuel.
![]() I also liked the neat touches such as the automatic "fold-in" mirrors when you turn off the key (trust me, when parking on narrow London streets this is a good thing) and the all glass roof has interior panels that are motor-driven so you can open as little or as much as you want to let the sun in. All sorts of neat features in this little scoot.

Now that Brera, there is a car I could get into! I would be afraid to look at the pricetag though.

Was the Brera the one from the Top Gear episode? The one where they had to do a comparison and justify why they thought their car was 'art'?
Cheers, Paul.
