Thumbs up Unbelievable luck

I just found a red balloon stuck in a tree with a diamond ring hidden inside. Going to appraiser now. They should call this day Great Friday.

That's hilarious! You really ought to contact your local TV news. They'll have you on the evening news on every channel tonight with that story, and hopefully the poor bloke who let go of the balloon will be able to get it back.

The right thing to do is call the local newspaper/TV news and get them to do a story on it. May get back to the rightful owner. You would be rewarded.

They come in red too.

Even more amazing when you consider that the balloon would be traveling against the winds, which flow from west to east at those latitudes.

Too busy to get a real update, 2 hookers and kilo are on the way. If any money is leftover I might get a tank of gas.
I like the way you think svandamme.

The long way ...

I agree - if you are a dumbass enough to tie a $12,000 ring to a helium balloon - then you deserve to lose it -

Of course, $12K could buy you a nice 3.6

Some poor sap in Siberia will probably find it and buy some decent vodka finally ...

Or, if it falls short Maxium might finally be able to take care of the P truck that he blew the wheels and rims out on
