O.K. Guys, if the combined intellect of Pelican can't solve this I'm stuck. I'm after title and / or artist of a song released shortly after Apollo 11 that included in the chorus "a man called Armstrong, walking on the moon". Can't remember much else of the song.
Ring a bell with anyone? Was motivated to find out after watching "In the Shadow of the Moon" today. Brillant movie. I'm going to see it again and drag the kids along this time. Trust me on this one, even my wife (who thought The Sea of Tranquility was a holiday resort) thought it was worth seeing again.

Armstrong
Black boy in Chicago Playing in the street Not near enough to wear Not near enough to eat Don't you know he saw it On a July afternoon He saw a man named Armstrong Walk upon the moon Young girl in Calcutta Barely eight years old The flies that swarm the market place Will see she don't get old Don't you know she heard it On that July afternoon She heard a man named Armstrong Had walked upon the moon She heard a man named Armstrong Had walked upon the moon The rivers are getting dirty The wind is getting bad War and hate are killing off The only earth we have But the world all stopped to watch it On that July afternoon To watch a man named Armstrong Walk upon the moon To watch a man named Armstrong Walk upon the moon To watch a man named Armstrong Walk upon the moon And I wonder if a long time ago Somewhere in the universe They watched a man named Adam Walk upon the earth -John Stewart This the one?

Watched the same movie 2 weeks ago and loved it. Excellent movie and everyone needs to see it.
The photography was simply excellent, not to mention the stories behind the scenes.
