From what I recall; some kid wrote on a chalk board the word "POTATO", while looking at the board a secret service agent whispered into Dan's ear's that there should be an "E" at the end of it, both Dan and another agent by his side all agreed so Dan corrected what he thought was a mistake.

If you can find a video, I think you will see him writing only the "E".

I think we have all been in similar situations, but it still was funny.

Agar shouted a question to the Democratic presidential candidate during Obama's appearance Wednesday at a Chrysler LLC plant in Sterling Heights.

Agar asks Obama what he's "going to do to help American autoworkers."

He replies, "Hold on one second, sweetie, we'll do a press avail, thanks" but didn't get back to Agar.

Hour later, Obama left a voicemail for Agar. Obama apologized for not getting back to her. He also told Agar he has a bad habit of calling people "sweetie."

They're called gaffes, and they're fair game for anyone who wants to make something out of them. After hundreds of campaign stops and speeches, a candidate is bound to stick his foot in his mouth once in awhile. I don't have a problem with it.

FWIW I don't have a problem with anything Bam Bam says, cuz I'm not voting for him. Hope and Change are not policies. They're not legislation. They're not anything. How about some actual details!!

McCain laid out what he's planning in a speech yesterday. He's for nuclear power, securing the border, and withdrawing from Iraq in a timely fashion. He's against earmarks. He's against government take-over of health care. These are all policies I can get behind. He's totally wrong about global warming and campaign finance reform though. But you can't get everything you want unless you ran yourself.

Maybe Obama thought he was running for president of The North American Union. That would give him 50 plus 11 in Canada and 31 in Mexico.
