Stupid choice for a SHTF weapon. The barrel is way to short to maximize the velocity of the round and who are you going to take ammo from when you run out?

That's good enough for me (plus it's not my only weapon). I will most likely use this to stop vehicles from approaching. Ammo? I'm a hoarder, too. P.S. - Why do you guys in AZ need CCW's? Don't you have open carry? Last edited by Danny_Ocean; 05-17-2008 at 07:08 PM.. |

Yes, but I don't always do it. I don't want to be the guy the bad guys shoot first by wearing openly all the time. I open carry on the bike and anytime I'm walking around with riding gear on.

"500 rounds enuf????"
I seem to recall that the current population of Latin America is approaching 550 million so you're short by about a factor of one million. |

LOL you guys are frightening.
Actually, the truth be known, I rather fancy my chances with a 9 shot pump action loaded with buckshot. Maybe a few one once slugs for good luck. |

If you're using a shotgun the bad guys are already to close.

With that much ammo you don't need food rations you can take food from other people.

In my CCW class today the instructor was a cop who actually has an M4 as a house gun in case any intruder is wearing body armor. He said it's getting more common with today's thugs.

I listed the links. You won't be able to get through one day of classifieds from all those sites in one day. It's just amazing what's out there for sale.

I'm always amazed at how inexpensive guns are.
Rick, there are so many potential revolutions these days. Which one are you ready for? Who is your target?

Don't forget to build your back yard bunker to hide out in when Obama surrenders America to the muslims and gun haters:

Yea, I wanna get like 2 very large trunks, One filled with ammo and guns, maybe some smoke bombs, some flares and a gas mask or 2. ohh and some nice night vision goggles. The other trunk will have about a month or 2 worth of MRE's,water, some first aid stuff. some can soups. flash lights and a blanket or 2. That should hold me over for a while. Plus if some big end of the world war/zombie/ revolt happends I dont know if I wanna be around more then 2 months LOL.
What would you guys pack if you had 2 VERY large Trunks. Or a small closet like 6"by 6"

Joe, YES. Let's go. Will call you after 10:00am. I have to cook breakfast for the wife to make up for leaving her home all day yesterday while I played with guns.

You want guns in your trunk that have ammo readily available.
For pistols 22 LR, 38 spl, 357 mag, 44 mag, 380, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 acp and 45 LC. For rifles 22 LR, 223, 7.62 X 39, 308, 30/06, 30/30 With thte pistol ammo I would scratch the 44 mag, 380, 40 S&W and 45 LC...while popular ammo in these calibers might get tough to find if push comes to shove. Nothing will beat the 22 LR in dire circumstances. Easy to carry a bunch, readily available and for hunting small game...and even has enough of a deterent to ward off bad people.
