I had internet access on my blackberry from my stand in Ontario this year.

It was kind of depressing, but still helped to kill the boredom a bit keeping up with news, etc.

We didn't have cell unless we were at a certain point on the ranch, but that was 4 years ago. We had the ultimate in Directv though. I miss those days.

In an earlier thread, HardDrive said he was going to Crystal Falls -- which would put him a bit more than 100 miles north of Green Bay.

I grew up in Carney, MI; if HardDrive drove up Hwy 41 from Green Bay, he went right through Carney -- but if he blinked, he might have missed it.

It's easy to miss.

Menominee, Stephenson, Dagget, Carney, Nadeau (just barely), Powers -- that's the order of the "towns" traveling north on 41.

wifi ?? you're kidding ? there must have been a cabin with a satellite or something, I don't even get a cell signal around there..
