Sledding in July!

We only have a few months of good weather here in the Northwest and when its good its really good. I took my daughters up to Paradise on Mt. Rainier today for some hiking and sledding. 80 degrees and beautiful so I thought I would share some pictures.

Dave

Lovely, Dave!

Those are probably among the absolute best real life pics ever posted here (IMHO)! Must have been a great day! Being Swedish I can really relate to the weather and snow situation.

the downside of that? how about riding a bike through solid fog, freezing temps, and slush on the road crossing Chinook Pass on HWY410... ON THE 5TH OF JULY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!

to boot, that was the route I chose to get to the Columbia Gorge, as most roads in the Gifford Pinchot were still impassable with several feet of snow! GLOBAL WARMING? MY ASS!

Keith,
That is tipped over Douglas Fir and Ronin is correct that global warming is not affecting the Pacific Northwest. We have had some nasty winters and springs the last couple of years.
But like I said when its good its really good.
Dave
