At my stage in life its not worth it. Last thing I need is a nagging frigging beoytch that keeps telling me that the dems are going to take care of me just to get Mr. Johnson wet from time to time. |

Please wake up! Just out on the morning news that McCain has caught up with Hussain and they are neck and neck on the polls. Dead even when just a few days ago Hussain was 10 points ahead. He is young and FOS and eventually enough people will realize this and vote for the only other choice. The only possible change in this is when they both choose their VP running mates and this may skew things a bit. You are almost correct. A McCain blowout is in order if we can get people to wake up that Hussain is an empty shirt blowing in the wind... |
Livi - I hope and assume that you've seen enough other aspects of the U.S. to know that this board is not representative of the nation. I've traveled the country extensively and, fortunately, have yet to encounter a place as whacked out as this...

Dude, good for you man. I for one am proud of you +1

Rookie mistake - you nail her then talk politics

Joe, I don't know what polls you're looking at, but every one I see (with the exception of Rasmussen, below) shows Obama sitting on a pretty comfortable lead - even in a lot of the historically "red" states. . .
http://www.usaelectionpolls.com/ http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html http://www.gallup.com/poll/election2008.aspx http://www.presidentelectionpolls.com/ http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=ee159c77-e4e4-4b5e-b5aa-5ae114813bc8 http://www.pollingreport.com/wh08.htm http://electoral-vote.com/ The ONLY reference I've seen to a tie in the polling is on the Rasmussen Reports (link below). Although this is encouraging, even they themselves seem skeptical of it, putting the following disclaimer on their web site: "It will take a few more days to determine whether this recent tightening of the race reflects real change or is merely statistical noise." Here's their daily poll tracker: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/general_election_match_up_history http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll I do pay attention to this stuff - all the evidence suggests right now that McCain has a significant amount of work to do if he wants to have any kind of shot. The good thing is there's a lot of time left, but I guess I just don't have as much confidence in the collective brainpower of the average American idiot these days as you seem to. I hope things turn around for McCain - I really do. If BHO gets in office, I think it'll only accelerate (dramatically) the slide towards the inevitable collapse of this country. The economy will grind to a halt on the back of his tax-and-spend policies and the government will only continue to run up staggering debts to fund "redistribution of wealth" policies. This is one election that we can't afford to lose to a socialist, or I really do think we ARE f*cked. However, the average dope out there just sees his smiling mug on the television and falls in love. Kennedy versus Nixon. . . Don't underestimate the power of a young charismatic face. |

Wise move...Cindy's family is left wing. She never felt like she belonged to them, being a logical lady. She votes right...as far right as she can. :D

BHO shouldn't even be mentioned on the same page w/ Gov Ed. Edwin was a Democrat's Democrat. He told you he was going to steal before he did it. Ed had Playboy bunnies weekending at the governors mansion. Not one, several, so his boys (contributors) could have some company. When confronted about illegal dealings, he never backed up a step. Comparing Ed to BHO is like comparing Al Capone to a corner crack dealer. |
Funny you should post this. I'm on the dating scene right now and it does seem that political views are becoming increasingly more imprtant in couples.
Livi- you'll have to understand that this is important to Americans- at least thinking Americans, and there are still some of us left. I feel the original posters frustration as typically an Obama supporter is clueless, and merely choosing the "brand" that is better marketed, not making a selection based on merit or any intelligent thought process. I see it all the time, and it's exactly as the OP states it. It's a date killer for me too. Let me draw a comparison: Obama voters are to the voting process what clueless yuppies are to modern Porsche sales. You guys all love to make fun of the Porsche guy who doesn't even know which end the engine is, he just bought one because he has some money and thought he was supposed to. That's the Obama supporter. They are responding to the media support of Obama's brand, and in light of the vacuum of marketing support for McCain, it seems like a natural choice. If someone is a brainless drone- It's a bit of a turn-off. It all depends on the situation of couse whether someone should still pursue some cratch-slapping. |

Unfortunately that is exactly the mentality (or lack of) that obama appeals to. He doesn't have to say anything or do anything, he just has to give them a foolish warm and fuzzy feeling which he does. That is a very dangerous thing. |

She had made up her mind based on nothing. that makes her a mush-head, weak minded, easily manipulated. It's very hard to respect someone like that (a democrat). Quote:

in general, one of you sound like a crappy date. politics and religion are no-no topics. |
Highly Likely
This may also come into play: (Calif. penal Code 261.)"The carnal knowledge of a person, forcibly and/or against the person’s will; or not forcibly or against
the person’s will where the victim is incapable of giving consent because of his/her temporary or permanent mental or physical incapacity (or because of his/her youth)":D |
So an after dinner blow job was outta the question? %^B.....
Politics and religion are best discussed after 7-8 dates... |
