Well, I've dated Patricia
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1216171565.jpg

off & on for over 20 years, and she is far more liberal than most on this board
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1216171906.jpg
Yes, she has a great rack:p

KFC911 07-15-2008 05:38 PM

Byron, doesn't that make you a hypopoliticrite or something :)?

I've been thinking about this thread and the strong views expressed by some of the right-wingers, and also thinking about some ridiculously beautiful L.A. chicks that are going to vote for Obama but probably are not very political in general.

So let's just get this straight, if the girl pictured below was really nice but going to vote for Obama, (after you brought up politics on a first date like a freaking idiot), you would kick her to the curb, right? This is a real girl, not hypothetical, BTW.

that tats sink it for me. Otherwise quite beautiful. She Hapa? Can she carry on a conversation?

The reality is that there are a lot of lookers in LA who also have brains. No need to settle...they're out there.

It looks like a bar code

rouxroux 07-15-2008 06:19 PM

One from column A, 2 from column B;Sorry, I'd be out of there. change...hope...change

Rick Lee 07-15-2008 07:27 PM

Is that tatoo her name in Sanskrit?

K. Roman 07-15-2008 07:33 PM

I'm really impressed that Byron dates a liberal. From my view, which is limited to the computer screen, Byron is more of a softie then he let's on. I mean, look at the pix of himself he uploads. Always with friends, joking and in a good mood. I couldn't imagine him talking about people as Racist POS to his girlfriends friends. Keep it up Byron and you'll have your own "Buy Byron a beer thread"

Hey, I take a backseat to no right wing nut and certainly not to Byron. I just don't have the library of political Jpegs he has. And besides, I've met a ton of folks here on PPOT and none would say I breathe firey, right wing vitriol in person.

Yeah, because after you've had a few dates, you say stuff like "there won't be a second one".

I'm calling the bull caca.

My bad, meant to say "another one" and it had been a while since I was out with her,, and not like I knew her well ,, so it was almost like a first date in that sense.. moral of the story doesn't change..

Not real sure what "Hapa" means, but she is eurasian, half Chinese I think. That is a mediocre picture of her, believe it or not, in person she is one of the hottest women in this town. And I know that's a big statement. She is seriously bad-ass. Lovely conversationalist. Has a kid, so MILF as well.

If you have a "no ink" policy, that is going to severely limit the pool of beautiful young women in the year 2008. Her ink is very, very minimal, in fact you could never notice that *inside of arm* piece if you were with her. I do not like extremely inked-up chicks, even if they are smoking hot. And some are, these days.

I just put her up as one example, lat week I saw her out with two friends who were her equal. (Models of a feather stick together). It was devastating; one buddy compared it to a triple F-22 fly-by in its impact. Jaw-dropping. :)

Hapa (pronounced HAP-pa) is a Japanese term for someone who is half one ethnicity, and half another. Literally it translates to "half person". Japanese use a lot of slang and colloquialisms. Ask me how I know.

Seahawk 07-16-2008 05:18 AM

Very interesting thread. My take:

I went to Cal so the prospects of finding dates with my independent political stance were fairly restrictive. There are a lot of angry liberals and conservatives (yes there are) in Berk. I mostly dated smart women from all political camps during the school year...smart means they were reasoned and not dogmatic. There is nothing that interests me less than buying into the all the talking points of any political party...I shy away from folks who are comfortable being in a herd.

During the summer I was a white water rafter in the Sierras so I got to meet lots of happy hippy chicks, which was great...this was the late 70's and there was a certain type of woman from that era that were just cool.

Glad I was there:cool:

I thought it was a Hawaiian word!

In Japan these days they actually say: "ha-fu". The traditional euphemism was Ai-no-ko "Love child".

Almost always good looking.:)

superman,

appreciate your offer to fix me up. but i've been through your town. was not impressed with the quality of the women. strangely, vancouver if full of stunning girls.

i don't generally grill dates on voting patterns. i don't bring it up unless provoked, or if she bores me to the point i no longer care how it goes. i could pretend to be some gore loving tool for a night if that was all i wanted.

last year i was having coffee with this girl after a class. one of the walking **** (homeless guy) came up to our table and asked for money. i think the guy knew from my expression that he wasn't going to get anything from me. but my date reached into her purse and started to hand him a five.
i asked her not to. i've lived in this neighborhood long enough to know that any money given will be converted to a gallon of 40 proof urine on the sidewalk outisde my building by morning. she gave it anyway.

we turned on each other. she thinks i'm a heartless greedy republican. i think she's a gullible democrat enabler of addicts. that's where the night ended.

that is the crux of it

Was in love with a intellectually brilliant all american track athlete who was as liberal as the day is long. We had many a spirited discussion. For example, when Pete Wilson was pushing to pull benefits for illegal aliens, we were on opposing sides of the argument, needless to say. She had good reasons and was convinced she was correct, and I felt the same way. The election supported me, the left wing California Supremes agreed with her.

Alas, the relationship did not survive it's long distance portion, almost married her.

you hear a lot of Hawaiians refer to hapa haole

Yesterday afternoon out of the blue, she called wanting me to swing by for a drink, she got a laugh out of this thread. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1216307181.jpg

Over 20 years, and while I've gotten fat & gray, she can still fit in her old UGA cheerleading outfit:eek: (remember, I'm also a UF guy, so more give)
But she want to sho of his one:eek:

Crappy cell phone pix. Any relationship is a give-n-take, it is really what you are willing to give & she is willing to take:D

- not drilling for more oil
- not exploiting all the coal we have
- being against Nuke power
- raising taxes
-killing small businesses
-having a racist wife
-total flip flop/lier on 2nd amendment ( in fact she didn't even know what it was!!)
-Rev Wright

Needless to say she took the ' I haven't really paid attention much" defense but yet was offended when I refered to her as "un-informed"!!!!
If this is the typical housewife in the US we're all in trouble!!!
So I dumped her off in her driveway after two cocktails and an apetizer...

Your views are so twisted no wonder she tried to let you off easy with; "I haven't really paid attention much" .

Are you looking for a partner or a political partner?

What's really important in life and what's important to you?

9dreizig, I'm affraid you will be single for a long time. Get a dog for now, seems to be what you are looking for.

Notice this: Your responses are insufficient in my view. You mentioned oil drilling, coal, racist wife, raised taxes, etc. All those assumptions are 100% unsupported and have no basis whatsoever in fact. Someone holding these opinions would be more incorrect, and less informed than someone holding no opinion whatsoever on those matters.

Sorry, dude. You didn't dump her because she was underinformed. You dumped her because she lacks the misunderstandings you have.

Exactly.
