Sort of. The University of Kentucky doesn't seem wanton to let me leave any time soon, and, I can't be sure, but I think by now they own a significant portion of my soul.

Or at least the next couple years of my life.

Why don't you just say, butler with false teeth?

I am proud to say I've never seen the inside of a jail cell... well, from the inside. Not that I haven't deserved to, but that's another thread.

we figured one guy would put him in a chicken wing, while i called the guards.

I can't trust a man who has never woke up in a jail cell.

Vash, that's the sign/countersign of the Organization! You were supposed to respond with a left handed handshake and the countersign of "You can check out any time, but you can never leave". If only you had known, you would have been invited to join the group that really runs the US prison system. Think of a fraternal organization for prisoners like the Stone Cutters in the Simpsons episode where Homer accidentally becomes head of the secret fraternity at work. You were that close . . . .

There's a difference between "jail" and "prison".

"Jail" is where they hold you prior to implementation of due process. "Prison" means you've been convicted in accordance with due process and is the punishment you get.

I don't hold it against someone who's been in jail. I MIGHT hold it against someone who's been in prison - although circumstances matter and are worth considering.

I thought you could serve a sentence of less than 365 days in a jail. You won't go to prison for most minor first offenses like shoplifting, DUI, petty theft, vandalism, etc., but are still convicted and sentenced.
