Check the USGS website in about 3 minutes....it should tell you where, when, and how strong.

Started out small and then got bigger. Really rolling out here in thousand Oaks. There was a 3.1 in San Bernardino this morning...I wonder if it was related.

Major rolling near the long beach area, lasted a long time with large swells but fairly gentle.

That was weird. First time I experienced a quake sitting at a stop light in my truck. Felt like the back end was being lifted. Seemed like forever because you never know when the big one is coming. Could be a precursor for the biggy.... hang on.

Glad to see my cracked chimney is still only cracked. Wow.. another aftershock as I type this. STOP ALREADY!!

Got a good shake here on the third floor in UTC. Called home (North = closer to Chino) and the family didn't feel a thing...

Hard to tell on the USGS site, but it looks like they've had about 5-6 aftershocks already.

Are those the "happy cows" that you Cali folks are so proud of?

I am on the 7th floor of a 12 story building and it took a couple of minutes for the building to stop shaking near LAX...

Thats a good thing. I'd rather take a whole bunch of small ones then a big one. Aftershocks is just the ground settling, right mike?

Moderate. Kinda' interesting.

I thought the Hector Mine quake felt a lot stronger even though it was further away - just something about it made me think right away "that's a nasty one somewhere" and sure enough, it ended up being a 7.something. I figured this one was about a 6 within 50 miles, so that's about right.

Can't wait for the sensationalist media to start going "are you prepared for the big one?" and crap like that for the next two months...
