This is done so it sits up high enough so as to be at the same eye level as the Playas with real juice ridin in their Escalades. Adding in a bad candy paint job and Wal-Mart sub box completes the transformation.

With no money left over for necessary suspension and brake upgrades, the lifespan is limited to a few drug runs or the first Police chase, whichever occurs first.

e.g. That donk is fly and ridin high.

Slab: slab n. - Southern word for a pimped out g ride. Will usally have custom paint jobs, nice rims and a bangin system. Stands for "Slow Loud And Bangin".

e.g. homie#1:" Daaaaammmmnnn!! peep that SLAB creepin down the block!!" homie#2:" Damn that hoe clean than a muthafugka!"

Funny, around me, all of those cars are rusty heaps. They've usually welded in steel scraps to raise and immobilize the suspension.

you guys are a bunch of old farts

I don't dig it, but there's a butt for every seat.

As for "soul," how can you possibly find that on 4 wheels? Philistines.

Umm, I'll take the after please. Last nite she filled out the jeans and shirt like watermelon smuggler. I would expect that many of the Hwood women have similar problems with thier clothes off. Heck, my butt looks 100 times worse than hers so I can't really speak.

I cracked up when they were spray painting the interior in the parking lot.
The quality of the work is worse than the bad taste, as my other pictures showed.

No, how about the 6 cars at the bottom of this page?
http://www.bowtieclassic.com/shops.html
None of them are terrible looking, they all appear to have decent geometry and style put in, and they are not the laughable crap that you are insisting on showing to prove me wrong.

People are putting 17 and 18 in rims on their Carreras, and you woulda been laughed at and abused for doing that when they came out. Rollin' on 20s is the same thing. They can be done very nicely, and they can enhance the look of a long low car like the 70s/80s boats, or they can be hideous messes thrown together by some chump shop.

Anyways, isn't the 20/22/24 inch craze better than the gold 13 inch Dayton crazy? Come on...you gotta admit that they look better than the 100 spokes.

I'd be interested to see a chassis that was designed for the rims on that Buick. It'd be cool to see low to the ground in correct proportions.....though I'm sure the handling would suffer.

I don't get the whole ghetto/homeboy look but then I'm an old fart so who cares. I have neighbors my age who immediately pimped (22" chrome rims) their 4x4 SUVs. I still laugh silently when I see them.

What kills me about the UW show is the poor quality of work.

I hope to christ that is only a t-type hood and not a 3.8 turbo under the hood.

Whomever said "Conestoga Wagon" about sumed it up. People pay for rims and don't have enough left to replace the rest . . . passed on I-285 last week by a 1980's Caprice with what I'd swear were 22" rims. He was traveling 80 mph in a straight line and up and down at the same time as though he'd used marshmallows and gummy bears as suspension upgrades . . .
