Never.

She used to wash the cars with me and even helped change her oil once before we were married.

Now I'm lucky if she takes some of the empty latte cups off the floor.

Only if it's flat on one side. But like Steve said "that's my job".

+1. She doesn't, but I do for her. I handle all the car-related stuff.

When I had a set of Michelins on her Passat, she was very careful to check the leaking SOBs a couple of times /week. Once we trashed the miserable things, the pressure guage feels kind of lonely.

Mine? Never. But my point here is that we are car guys, and most of our SOs never check the air. For the non-car people, no one is checking the air.

Barry called drilling a "political stunt". WTF? It is an economic answer to a fundamental supply demand problem. Telling people to check the air in their tires is an arrogant answer, cause papa-bama knows best.

When do you think was the last time Barry checked his tire pressure himself?

She never does, but has occasionally asked me to check them.

My wife doesn't but it's not that she can't, she just knows I will.

She does wash her car every week or two and sometimes even washes my truck.

I won't even answer, for fear my wife is on some forum answering a poll titled "When's the last time your husband bought the groceries"

I have a shop air compressor and go around to all 3 cars to check the pressure most weekends. It only takes a minute. If I had to rely on a bike pump or cigarette lighter-powered compressor it'd be far less often.

I guess in a way she does every few thousand miles by surrogate when they change her oil.

Otherwise never.

My wife does it whenever she fills up the car with gas. It's part of her routine. I can't take credit either--her dad gets that.

My truck has air pressure sensors built into the rims. I just scroll through the various dash displays and I can get to one that tells me the pressure of each tire.

TPMS will be his first mandate!

I'm pretty sure my wife knows how to use a pressure gauge. Pretty sure.......
