Nice job ! BTW, you don't need the splint. Just ice it, and tape it to it's buddy if you have to.

Nice thread.

BTW, you don't need a splin on that toe. Just ice it, and tape it up.

Yeah, it was a pretty bad weekend, 18 years old. Cutting wood mad isn't a great idea (I had totaled my 240Z that I had just restored by myself that Friday night, this was Sunday). Saw kicked back and went into my cheek. glasses were off. Somehow instinctively I put my glove up to my face and it came away full of blood. didn't really hurt though. Walked inside and told my mom I need a band-aid. She freaked out! covered it with a warm, wet wash cloth, rushed me to the hospital, sat there for 2 hours waiting for a surgeon to put 15 stitches in my left cheek. then went back to college. bad weekend.

Just need an old used X-ray machine along with a tire mount/balance combo and I will be completely self sufficient.
Man have you got me beat! I don't see any TIG welds on that thing though, what were you thinking?!

Doin' OK, thanks. Foot was blue this morning, I think mostly because the tape was too tight. The length of the toe on the inside was deep purple, it's faded a little. Definitely did some damage! been on it all day, so I just finished off 2 highballs of Cask & Cream and am feelin' great!

Thank you again for the advice on pulling it out, I think I would have been in a world of trouble if I hadn't. owe you one.

that little piggy will be hurtin' for at least a month.

Loose fitting shoe with stiff sole would be just the ticket. You want to wrap it with something that is elastic, not too tight. Medi-rip, coban, vet wrap, 1 inch wide would work well. Sort of like stretch tape that sticks to itself. Tape has no give to it

I'm a bad patient. a month!, I can't do that. If I'm not back 100% on Monday, I have failed in healing, and that can't happen.

I've got some beautiful corduroy with a little lycra in it and a hot glue gun to keep it together should work well.
