For what are probably very obvious reasons, I refuse to serve under DARISC.

I agree with the sentiments on the traditional tricycle style trikes, like the Harley.
But what of the efforts of companies like Brudeli? One claimed benefit is improved braking in corners.

Piaggio's MP3 is a 250cc/500cc scooter on the market that has two wheels in front and leans. Reviews say it rides well and much less risk of losing the front wheel in braking or turns. I do think it looks funny. But I'm keeping an open mind.

I saw an old lady on one of those Vespa? MP3 wheelers down by Point Loma in San Diego the other day, she looked like she was having fun.

Not a leaner, but the only trike I REALLY like! These do NOT strike me as ghey.

The old Morgan's and even the new knock offs of them are pretty cool. I'd drive one.

Probably not....I'm betting that motor puts out a max of 40bhp. I'm sure a modern BMW or Guzzi is far "worse".
At any rate, I'll make an exception from my "ghey" classification for vintage rides like that.

[QUOTE=Gogar;4210214]What about this:
![]() What's with these? They're all over So Cal. Is there some performance advantage to that layout. BTW - they sound like single cylinder thumpers!

My vote for funniest exchange of the year. I'm still chuckling, just thinking about it.

Looks like a Seadoo with wheels to me, fugly.
Seems like a gimmick to me. However, I wouldnt count out anything Harley does, their fans are loyal. |

As a current rider that struggles with a physical handicap I can say that such a setup may indeed be inevitable for people such as me. I am already at odds withthe weight of my ride at parking lot speeds and suffer with a drop far to often compared to fully healthy riders.
I had thought that a hack would be the only alternative available to me but those require significant upper body effort. A three wheeled leaner might be just what I need.
