Maybe some folks from the Tampa area will join you...

I wish I was going to a game. I went to the series in 1980 when I was 2. Don't have the buckaroos for that type of adventure right now. I''ll be watching from home though. It has been pretty cold here lately so if you are coming bring some warm clothes.

I don't think there will be many Rays fans in Philly. Probably quite a few Phillies fans will make the trip to Tampa.

I hope it is a good fun series. Both teams seem to be built around a solid core of respectable guys, which is nice to see.

Lets go Phils!

Rich

Rich

Yeah, since the Phillies train down here, there are a lot of Phillie fans already in the area.

That was a pretty exciting Game 7. When Boston had the bases loaded in the 8th, down by 2, talk about the pressure on a rookie pitcher!

The last few ALCS games were fun to watch. Hopefully the World Series is just as entertaining.

Philly -> TB I can understand. TB -> Philly isn't nearly as tempting.

And did he look calm or what! I was getting ready to barf as the RS loaded up the bases for what seemed like another game winner. I'm a NL follower but this year will be routing for Tampa.

It was really a great series - like a prize fight. You have to appreciate the rays - for once a team - a team of individuals - they play like a jacked up college team.

I really do like the Rays team. They're young, hungry and talented. Their fans on the other hand... Geez. What happened to Tampa? Did every dumb redneck schitkicker move there in the last 10 years?

me too...sort of. When I left this area for the Navy we didn't have a baseball team yet, now I am back down here and I have enjoyed watching ALCS. Don't understand the haircuts and the cowbells though. You won't catch me with either.
