Yes, good advice. My wife went through this a few years ago and is fine now. For a while, I wan't sure I could survive it, it got that bad. It's all good now.

Her mom went through it a while back and was a real turd. My wife took it personally and it took me years to convince her that it had nothing to do with her. That's fine now, too.

They can't help it, so just do what you have to do to get them over it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...in addition the steptwins "moved" back in qwith us for the suumer. In actuality they have been here overnight maybe 4-5 times in the past 5 weeks. Ya think that may have been part of it?

One of the twins has a lab mix that has for the past year been at her grandmothers. Well steptwin has a falling out with grandmother and tells her she now has to take the dog. She doesn't bother to to ask her mother (much less me) and shows up wiyh dog, bed, food and promptly moves the dog into her bedroom even tho I have made it clear dogs sleep in our laundry room. Then promptly leaves it here but does call at 11:30 last nite to ask if we'll take care of dog since she's going to be out for the night.

What does this have to do with menopause? When I calmly express my feelings about being taken advantage of, mom ranges from rage to tears to agreeing with me back to only mild anger back to rage that I'm being unreasonable. This morning she was fine...by afternoon she was aloof.

I didn't sign up for this crap.

I spent the past 3 days with a lovely 21yo goth girl i imported from Manhattan on Amtrak. $47 each way, and about $50 to feed her while she was here.

It was among the best $144 spent in the entire history of mankind, i assure you.
