When they were owned by Lambo, and headquartered in Jax, both were clients, so I got to go into the back rooms, they were building the Vectors (mid 90s) about 20 minutes from my home, plus Hastings brakes has a test track out there too (also a client at the time) and I saw all sorts of cool stuff that shouldn't have been here

My criticism not only stems from it's dated, embarrassing appearance, but from it's fit and finish and lack of reliability. I in fact have much more respect for the guy that built his Countach from scratch in his basement. I appreciate aesthetically-challenged cars that are an engineering tour de force (see GT-R), and I appreciate dead sexy cars that could have used a little more development in them (3rd Gen RX-7). The Vector, in my opinion, fails to fit in either categorization and simply serves, or should I say served as just another 80's status symbol, albeit an overpriced one, that should be left in the corner of the attic with Sonny Crockett's white Armani and Thomas Magnum's daisy dukes. |

I'd SO much rather have a Koneigseigg. Way better car for the money. With engineering I'd actually be inclined to trust.

Apparently running the company into the ground the first time wasn't enough, they've got to give it another go.

I think it does deserve the credit of being an American mid engined car.. at least they got that part right...

What's crazy is that a regular driver's license is all that would be required to operate. This thing drives faster than some planes fly.....and not just the average Cesna 152...
This thing should require a pre-flight (pre-drive?) check before heading out. Just because you think you can build a 275mph car does that mean you should? I think this will be on wreckedexotics.com as quickly as they sell them. Oh, and Progressive insurance couldn't quote me a rate.
