New Years Day Dinner?

Being a yankee moved south for 20 years, then back to the tundra, I'm curious. So what is everybody eating today. Yankee tradition is roast pork and sour kraut, up here they put keilbasi in the mix too. My southern traditions say, pork, greens and black eyed peas. So what's for dinner?

Smoking a ham on the Big Green Egg as we speak (1 more hour to go). Glaze will be 2 sticks butter, 1/2 cup molasses, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup apple cider, 1/4 cup Bourbon and 1 tsp cinnamon. Serving with black eyed peas and spinach souffle.

Wifey got me the BGE for my birthday last year. It's awesome.

Catfish and cornbake today. No traditional meal for our family. Just had a hankering for fish and my wifes speciality.

Aren't you supposed to cook 'em live like a lobster?

Dins: Moussaka with Caesar salad. I just finished making a lemon meringue pie for dessert. No traditions here . . .

edit: but that pork looks real good . . .

Black eyed peas and crab cakes.
Last night was linguine and clams with a whole lot of garlic. No vampires in this house today.

Eating lentil soup would ruin my ability to face the year ahead.
