ok, let me ask you; what is a good light beer?

i survived the "Ballet" thread.

not to sound like a wuss...is there any good light beer out there? i tried becks light, and it is simply fizzy water. just trying to fill in the blanks between the scotch and gin with some thing healthy..hahhaha.

Try Pacifico…for me in a pinch, I like MGD!
I’m not gonna throw all the micro brew beer at you that nobody ever hears of, just try the above

Ballet is one thing, but now you are going too far. Mods, ban this "man".

Just drink a bit less, but make it a good beer for God's sake. Guiness has 170 calories/pint, Coors Light is 146 calories/pint, its not much different.

http://www.beer100.com/beercalories.htm note this is per 12 ounces
http://www.beer100.com/beercaloriesimports.htm ditto
http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-guinness-beer-i70037 this is per pint i.e. 16 oz

Miller Light at least has some flavor, it's my favorite cheap beer. Sam Adams Light is good and Heineken Light is decent. If you can find it, Grolsch Light is damn good. Oddly enough, the only place I can find it locally is Wal-Mart. Too bad that means I have to actually go to Wal-Mart.

+1 for Sam Adams light.

I wold rather have a real beer and a glass of water separately than two light beers ...

Try the Beck's light, 65 calories and pretty good. There was a coupon thread for "Free Beer" a few days ago where you could get a rebate coupon for up to $9 and they usually cost about $6, so free beer, the offer expires 1/5/09. I gotta do that.

I used to have to import Fat Tire to L.A. I learned about it skiing in Colorado. I still drink it when there and will have a couple hen out to dinner - if they have it here.

Amstel light, but like mopeds and fat chicks, don't let your friends catch you with it.

I'm a Miller Lite drinker since I had to stop my gut from growing several years ago. Now it's starting to grow from the Miller Lite
