Len, since you should receive your "bet" money from techweenie soon, you can afford more Gatorade! Hang in there buddy!

The internal soreness is quite impressive at this point, a sneeze is a very very painful experience. My guts are speaking to me in some rhythmic rumble that comes on every time I move. It's a bizarre dance where you never know if this or that particular rumble means business or if it's just background noise. Keeps me on my toes....good times...good times.

Ginger Ale, won ton soup, and a big fat doobie work great when you're deathly ill.

lendaddy 01-20-2009 06:12 PM

What is the theory behind Ginger Ale? Is there any actual chemistry to the theory?

Oh Haha 01-20-2009 06:43 PM

Not sure on the ginger ale but my mom gave us warm Vernors when sick as kids.

I'm drinking a diet Faygo ginger ale right now. Better than Vernors, if you ask me.

Yeah, there's some medical reasoning behind it. Ginger ale will let you keep fluids down, even when you're throwing up plain old water.

If you can't keep ginger ale down, get to the hospital right away.

The pot also helps to settle the stomach and relax you, and also kills pain and helps you to fall asleep.

I have some Vicodin, will that work? :D

I see your Vicodin and raise you 2 Darvocet and a Valium:D

We could have one heck of a party if we pooled our pharmaceuticals!

You can walk and I cant, I can eat and you cant.

If you can keep that sucker down, then yes, it'll help.

I'll start the stopwatch, you post up when it comes back to visit :D

Pot helps with the nausea (that's one of the main reasons cancer patients use it). The problem with pills is that you may not be able to keep them down.

Watch out for that killer weed, though...

Ginger is great for settling the digestive tract.

Back in the day weed got me through many a hellatious hangover (haven't touched the stuff in a decade).

Seriously doubt Len will puff a hooter. :p

Lots of places require a drug test, I'd stay away from the stuff, and poppy seed muffins.

It has the exact opposite effect on some people (good thing or I probably would have been quite the burnout in high school :))

lendaddy 01-21-2009 09:22 AM

Yea, no risk of me firing one up, just not my game.
