My Z-28 was a good car and a hoot to drive. I didn't push it anywhere near the limits of cornering as I have with the 911 but it would brake, accelerate, and corner pretty well, even stock. The cool thing was that I didn't have to invest in a bunch of gold chains.

A bigger question..........why the hell don't you just buy something?. You post lots of ideas, then claim you can't find one. BS, you just aren't trying. When you claimed you couldn't find a decent Prelude, I found two nice stock SH models in KC with 100k and under your price range.

If I can live in KS and buy a C36 (one of 1500) you can find whatever you like in FL. Decide what your first choice is, then focus on that one car. If you can't decide between a few, we can help. But you need some solid criteria. How you jump from a SC Camry to a mullet mobile, I have no idea.

How quickly folks forget or are too young to remember why those cars were built. When it's realized that max displacement allowed is limited to 305 c.i., then factory builds like the Boss 302 and the z28 make much more sense. They squeezed a lot of muscle and endurance out of those small blocks not forgetting the suspensions were also tuned for road racing.

Don't forget Chevy put a 302 in the Z28 too.

I think an oversquare 302, 4"x3" b&s, chevy could be fun under the right circumstances.
