It is with great pleasure that I formally announce our engagement.
We have also set the date, due Saturday March 28th 2009.
The wedding and reception will take place in Missussauga, ON, Canada.

Our plan is also to have a renewal of vows and reception in the UK also this year.

It's funny how when a girl tells her girl friends that she's getting married, they get all excited and make big deal out of it.
When a guy tells his buddies he's getting married, they say things like "dude, what happened man?" Or Oh man, that's to bad

she is Canadian and I'm a Brit !
(but by origin we are both Sri Lankan, she was born in SL, went to Dubai and finally Canada, where as I was born in UK)

So I'm going there to get married to get the paperwork going, then she will come back here end of year.

Was also toying with idea of migrating, (hence my canada thread some while ago)
