Springsteen halftime- garbage

What an old self absorbed blowhard,, nothing but his old crap re-sung and not good at all. What's it been 10 years since he's done anything new/good? Up with people would have been more entertaining .... LOL

Agreed. That's why I'm away from the TV, typing this... So, anybody think the Cards have a prayer of making a comeback?

Agreed. My exact quote to a lady friend was, "He needs to go lay down in a box somewhere and die." Damn leftist hippy.

Couldn't the NFL have come up with someone a little more relevant? Say something between Springsteen and say....the Jonas brothers! No one to old or to commercial? Seriously We have the opportunity to show the world a little class and culture, you'd think they could get a better act....

We have a friend that was in the halftime on field crowd. My wife asked her last week if she gets to see any of the game? She said no. My wife came back with, but you get to see Springsteen. And she said yea, but I don't know any of his songs. Our friend is 32 years old....

Im no musical engineer but, the sound was way off, maybe too many players, Petty last year was much better, they kept it simple. Maybe too many horns?

You'd think someone would put that lardas$ om a stair master to get in good enough shape to sing more than half a song without getting all out of breath. I really liked it when he kept sticking the microphone out for the audience to sing, they sounded better than he did. That slide on his knees right into the cameraman was really professional though. The band sounded awesome as usual. They should dump that embarrassment and find a new front man.

I took everyone out to the garage to see the basket case over halftime. I think we all preferred it that way.

That was the national anthem? I couldn't tell, it sounded so much like a typical lounge act. She changed the song. She changed the melody, missed a few of the words, even took it into a minor key. Not cool. It's the national anthem. It deserves more respect than it got tonight.

Are you guys kidding me??? Springsteen was great. Always gives a good performance. Anyone who dogged him ever been to a show of his? 3 hours of pure fun. He gives you your moneys worth. Maybe watching on TV you don't get that. Relevant? His tours sell out around the world. Still. That's going on 30 yrs now. Were all those people in the crowd old? No. But they still new the words to those classic songs right? Go to a springsteen concert you'd be amazed at how many young people there are. I know, I feel old when I go to one Class? He does more good for his community and the communities he plays in the just about any performer. And I'm pretty sure he was the first performer not to lip sync. I heard that on radio this week, but haven't confirmed it. Gotta admit the slide into the camerman was funny. I actually think he might have knocked the wind out of himself and/or really hurt himself. I've seen him many times and never saw him get that winded. Maybe his age (mid 50's) is really starting to catch up him. And he does that slide (and more) at just about every concert. There's usually not a camerman at the end of it though.
