one down, two to go

The 10/22 arrived and we got to test it out. Sweet. Payment goes off for the mini 14 tomorrow, then something in a 12 gauge. Then I'm done. I swear. I can quit any time I want.

Yea, right.

Just wait until you borrow some high-cap magazines and bump-fire that Mini-14; you'll be looking to move to a more gun-friendly state where you can enjoy the addiction with less restrictions from the government.

Can you get by with only one 10/22? I'm sure I have three at least. No Mini's, but several black .223's.

Excellent! I'm looking for a Sin P229 in .40S&W and a Browning Hi-Power. Good time to buy firearms!

That is such a fun .22!

Traded with a friend of mine last week: My scope-less Bushmaster for his near new Mini-14 with a nice scope.

I really enjoy the size and weight of the gun. It has been very accurate to 150yds.

Which one did you bid on? I was lurking before the trade happened

Well, you need 2 x 10/22s to make one of these!

LMFAO WAIT TIL YA SEE MY MP5-SD AND YOU'LL BE PACKING THE TRAILER TO MOVE TO A GUN FRIENDLY STATE. filling out federal/state/local forms today as a matter of fact for my SBR and SUPPRESSED stamps. since its semi-auto trigger group, i dont need the full auto stamp which i dont want for 2 reasons. 1) hits on target with a subgun are minimal 2) i can go to any gun friendly state with it if i go camping/hunting/driving da 911/ sightseeing/wondering/anything and not be forced to get a BATF travel stamp to go interstate each and everytime.

i think im gonna change my name here to "charles "PFFFFFT" kieffner!!!!

so tell me kalifornians..............how would you like to be in san gabriel sitting in the coffeeshop UNARMED YESTERDAY?????????????????????

another "lubys moment(texas)" where innocent lives are taken because of dumbass kinder gentler gun laws.

wasnt the logo on reed and malloys "adam-12" cruiser.........."TO SERVE AND PROTECT?"

every moron who knows nothing about the west 125 years ago and how life actually existed thinks it was the "wild west" as portrayed in dime store novels. the factual reality was per capita there were less homicides than today! think about that. everyjuan armed = less crime!!!!

yesterday i held a HK MP5-SD semi-auto suppressed, short barrel, in 10mm in my hands. $6000 bucks. thought about it for a moment, then thought about cost of 10mm round..........and said no thank you lets go with the 9mm for more bang fer buck giggle fun. held the $12000 auto sear thats going in this 10mm and and added up 12 and 6 which equals 18,000 bucks for a freeking gun. i about threw up at what real fun guns are costing these days.

but as mentioned the 9mm will be the ultimate close quarters zombeez weapon cuz da zombeez aint never gonna know where da bullet is coming from or wheres i'm at cuz all there gonna hear is....................PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT! and then BOOM BOOM OUT GO DA LIGHTS! PFFFFFFFTTT X 40!!!!!!!

the other UBER SWWWWEEEEETT thang about this suppressor..........i can mount it LEGALLY on any of my other 9mm's as long as i thread the barrel for each and everyjuan with only (1) BATF suppressed stamp. ie. a multi-suppressor for each and everyjuan of my 9mm kinder!

since i also own a hk-94 which everyjuan and his brother are offering me big bucks for using it as a "host gun" for a full auto sear, (i aint selling) i will have to get another stamp($200+500 for barrel shortening) for the hk-94 to make it into A SBR, thereby threading the barrel and shortening it. which will drive the price of that thru the freeking roof from everyjuan here that wants it for a full auto host gun.

Charles - I think you have to notify the ATF any time you cross state lines with any NFA weapon...

You might think so, but I'm sure it isn't under control. You'll keep finding things that look interesting that you want I'm sure.

I spent the afternoon at the range earlier this week and got talking to a couple of guys wearing Confederate uniform jackets with replica 1853 Enfield rifles. I was talking to them for hours about their reenactment group, civil war history, and firearm technology, etc. They gave me a demonstration then let me do the full loading sequence, even tearing the paper cartridge open with my teeth, and fire a couple of Minié ball rounds down range. It was an absolute blast and I was suprised how accurate they were and how little recoil there was. Punched one heck of a hole in the target though. That black powder makes a horrible mess, but I'd quite like to get hold of one of those for a bit of fun.

That's how the list keeps growing.

CONTRARE. just verified this yesterday with my FFL jim hulihan at admiral products here at snobbsdale aeropuerto. he stated "only FULL AUTOS" need a travel permit to go to another gun friendly state. then i asked him specifically can i go to nevada/colorado/new messiko/tejas and he answered "yes" without having to notify BATF for a each and everytime travel permit.

jim travels state to state for machine gun shoots and gun shows quite often and he knows the laws backwards and forwards. this guy builds legal mortars/RPG's and other non destructive devices plus has all of his federal NFA permits. he is really into this and follows it to the letter of the law. stumbled upon him from a ammo purchase i made out of sturmgewher.com. have now made (2) interstate FFL purchases thru him for $20 bucks each his cost.

this was juan of the main sales features of going semi-auto trigger pack versus full auto. aside from the fact i will need to buy a ammunition factory geared for 9mm if i went full-auto. $$$$$$$$$$$$

cant think of a better camp gun when yer bored and want something to amuze yourself and others with. PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT X 40! hahahahaha

now the PITA part..........4 months from the day i fill out and finish a file folder of federal forms, get my fingerprints in triplicate, passport photos in triplicate/ go down to "shurf joes" office here in maricopa county and have a audience and answer all questions correctly, i will be able to take possession of NFA weapon. but on the other side of coin jim has seen these take only 6 freeking days for approval. but 4 months waiting time is usually the norm.

on the document is a question..........a very IMPORTANT QUESTION, that you better answer truthfully. "HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ARRESTED?" and if you EVER HAVE you better answer "YES"! cuz this is the background check just like i had for entry into PROJECT MERCURY/LOS ALAMOS LABS/WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE/SANDIA LABS etc. background check. no screwing around here. about 50 levels of background check beyond my arizona DPS and FEDERAL FBI background check for my AZ-CCW permit.

this is the background check where they find out if you ever had nasty thoughts about doing christie brinkley bent over yer 911 hood!

and "YES" will be my answer about ever being arrested. for ditching a cop on my dirtybike when i was 18. kind of like "alices restaurant" "have ya ever bean arrested boy?" "yep........fer littering!"

another note here. jim hulihan at admiral products has quite a few machine guns for sale now. shoot him an e-mail if yer interested. right now he has built a 8mm MG-42 and is werking the bugs outta dat juan . the hot ticket changeover for these mg-42's is to rewerk them to .308(7.62x51mm) thereby saving big bucks on ammo.

btw I should have put the "I can quit any time" in green...

It's funny because it turns out my boss is into skeet and has a bunch of shotguns and other long guns. When I told him about the 10/22 he sent me a link to this:

Paul I got the one from Halifax Supply. It is a NIB from 05 or 06. There were some other ones that looked nice as well. Now to buy about 10K rounds of CCI Mini Mag and a bunch of 10 rd ( ) magazines...

So the kid's a southpaw eh? Careful with those hot shells popping up the shirtsleeve.
You should really give skeet a try, a lot of fun and you can really get into some $$$ guns.

They eject pretty far and wide (CCI Mini Mag). He's been nicked by ones from the Walther and doesn't like it - one reason he likes to wear long sleeves at the range.
