How can I buy my own number?
It's easy, and with such a large selection of numbers for sale, we're sure you'll find one you love. If you have a particular number in mind, simply type it into the "Search Inventory" box at the top of the page and press "Find". This will bring you straight to the number you're looking for. You can also simply click on the "available" number listed at the top of the page. Hurry though! They sell fast!

How much do numbers cost?
We sell them for free! If you are interested in buying a number that has already been purchased, you will have to contact the owner directly to negotiate a sale.

Will I really "own" the number?
We are not lawyers. What we do know is that we created these numbers wholly independently of any outside help and we are selling you the numbers that we have created.

Can I sue people who use my number?
Again, we are not lawyers. However, you might be interested in the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. People do all sorts of crazy stuff with that.

Why does your site require a password when I purchase a number?
We call this the "Ownership Password". It allows you to come back at a later time and update your information. Don't forget your password — we can not retrieve it for you. It also allows you to sell your number. See the next question.

Can I sell my Number? How do I sell my number?
Yes, you can sell your number. It's your number.

In order to sell your number, negotiate your price with your buyer and provide them with the Ownership Password. They can then use that password to update the information on the number as well as change the Ownership Password to something new.

We do not provide escrow services for such transactions at this time.

Why is my number listed as censored?

inappropriate language in your name, url or owner's statement
owner's url links to pornographic or other offensive material
unusual alignment of celestial bodies
the administrator's feel as though content in your owner's information is not suitable for people under the age of 18
Administrators may, on a case-by-case basis, mark the owner information for a number as censored. They do not remove the information in theses cases. They merely mark the information as being inappropriate for innocent eyes and hide it behind a warning message.

On that note, please keep the contents of your owner message PG. Numbers are something everyone should be able to share in!
