Bye Bye winter, finally!

It's 80 in the shade, the pool temp is 85.
The kids are still swimming, I got out to start the BBQ for the tri-tip.

It's about time, I was sick of that cold weather!

It's going to snow here tonight. Hope the cold weather continue until after our ski vacation to Breckenridge during spring break.

A bit cool for our double hill run, 39 F at 8AM. We took the hilliest section of day 1 of the Houston-Austin MS150, and ran it both direction.

The wind started out light, but we knew it would build to 20+ mph. And we started the day straight into it. 2.5 hours out, 1.75 hours back.

Tomorrow will be "The Bluebonnet Express", 80 miles, and about 1/4th of that will be in the hills.

Shuddap! I'm in central KS, we have over a foot of snow. Thanks to the 40 MPH north winds we also have 10 ft drifts. I'll be lucky to get back to Wichita tomorrow.

We really didn't get our usual cold snap this year that messes up the oranges, strawberries, etc. But, the potential is still there. But yes, it's been hot today. It made 80* by 3 PM. I don't think that was in the forecast.

Very pleasant here....azaleas in full bloom. Hated azaleas as a kid. Stay green much of the year but blooms are shortlived...still don't like them that much but they're all over my back yard.

Yeah, we've had temps in the 80s. THis weekend the cold front has dropped it down to the mid 60s. Still, I've had my first day lily bloom.
