well, rip the old stuff up

then prep the ground deep to about 12 inches with sand, lime, gypsum if you have any clay


roll flat and then have the sod installed

you can't get a blue grass to grow there?

LOL I pay $50 per pint of a product called turflon ester to kill bermuda but not my fescue

Luckily one ounce covers 1000 sq. ft.

I was thinking about getting the soil tested as well...sounds like it might be a good idea.

As far as a connection to A&M, if you count 5 years of my life there, Class of 1994, then YES!

I was thinking about the sprinkler issues, I will certainly mark the location of the heads, I was thinking about changing the design of the system as well since I have put in new flower beds since the yard was originally installed. The heads are the kind that pop up about 3 inches before spraying so the depth shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Get the sprinkler system changed before you resod. You don't want to be trenching in new lines through your new grass.
