Mike (Lubemaster) is one of my favorite Pelicans! He's still around, just not here... I'm betting he will be back...

In addition to 'life', I think Mike is the president of the local PCA chapter, Mavericks. He's still getting his Porsche fix.

Mike is a very funny guy and a good man. I just checked and I've still got his cell# in my phone so if I make it to TX., I'll hopefully get to meet him. Just missed him in LV once, talked on phone.

Yup! I just fixed the very minor rust bubbles, and re-painted it. It looks fantastic!

Like Mike, I stop back in from time to time but will never spend the time here that I once did.

There is a life away from PPOT. Try it sometime...
Thanks Joe. There are many good people on here. Glad to have met alot of them.
I agree that the politcal stuff turned alot of people off. I try to avoid it. I still stick my nose in there once in a while to see what goin on. But rarely get involved.
Most of my time on here is at work. ( I know, thats wrong). Or if I am putzing around in my garage and have the comp on. Other than that, too much other
stuff to do.

I met up with Mike a couple of years ago in Seattle. He is a great guy...I hope he is doing well. Now that I am in Texas, it would be nice to meet up with him again.

Of topic: The split of OT with the separate politics forum has made Pelican a much more enjoyable place.

Wow...I don't know what to say. I really had no idea. Kinda like sitting in on your own funeral.

After (and even a few before) my 10,000 I really had become burn't out with writing and thinking. I put in my final edits on the book around that time. That did a number on my brain and energy. Now I'm waiting for the reviews to come in prior to pressing it.

I also had a bit of 'MT Head'. For the first time in many many years I just had zero original thoughts. No sense in blabbering on when there is absolutely nothing to contribute. I didn't even have the energy to steal a thought!

Well all of that has changed. I can feel the ideas, questions and opinions welling up inside. The past few weeks have afforded themselves as a form of intellectual foreplay.

So hang on ya bunch of open recepticles...daddy gonna blow his top soon enough...

(BTW, thanks for all the kind words and thoughts...I missed you too!)
