Ie8

Upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 from 7. So far so good and seems to work much better than IE7. Anyone else using it? Opinions?

IE is the gateway to almost all viruses.

Opera and Mozilla are both much better, and far more secure. Opera is lightning fast.

Agreed. I haven't used IE since oh... about Windoze 95 came out. There are much better browsers available.

Firefox rocks! I tried opera once a long time ago. It's pretty good too. I don't have any complaints against firefox for speed. It'll pull 99.7% (my number, nothing official) of the web pages out there (with the IE Tab plugin). For the other 1%, I usually don't need to get there that bad.

Opera is by far the fastest. I switched to that after my virus episode, it's blow your doors off fast.

Mozilla i liked too, but Opera is a good deal faster. I don't know which is more secure, maybe SloDave can offer some insight into that. Everyone once in a while ill run into a site that is not supported by Opera, so i just launch firefox.

I never ever use IE8. It's just a leaking sieve for infection.

I haven't had any virus problems with windows/IE (knock on wood!). Good antivrus and spyware software I guess. All I'm saying is IE8 is better than IE7. Tried most of the others and always settle back with IE.
