Unless he can provide some sort of documentation on that snake, it probably isn't 9 ft. and 90 lbs.
Since the guy is holding it out towards the photographer, it does look bigger, but that's because of depth perception... and Eastern Diamondbacks rarely reach even 8 ft. and at that length weigh less than 30 lbs.

30 lbs or 100 lbs, either way the end result is going to be the same.....dead!
I'll bust his chops on this one and make him dig-up some proof for us. He's retired so he has plenty of time to do the research.

Neither of those are Photoshopped... they're just holding the snake way out towards the camera.
You can hold a baseball in your hand with your arm outstretched toward the camera and make it look like it's the size of a basketball. That's all that's occurring here. Was Bruce Lee's right hand bigger than his head?

i dont think anyone could hold 90 lbs out on a stick like that.
bums me out that people kill snakes just cuz they are snakes. every rattler i have encountered, i have just walked waaaaay around. no harm no foul.

i have little kids in the yard. the girls also run around outside at night. i only kill the poisonous ones.
the lens makes a difference as to how much it will distort the image. a 35mm will make it worse than a 80mm, along with how close it is to the lens. look at what a wide angle will do.

I received a email about some 1800 lb wild boar just the other day. It was obvious the guy was 20 feet behind the pig. Same perspective thing.

I've seen those with the boar... heh heh... the guy should have been standing on top of it if he'd wanted to be convincing.
But I guess with Photoshop, even that wouldn't have been the final word on authenticity.
