The family thinks it's murder and they feel very strongly about it. Not because of the embarrassing details of his supposed cause of death, (the guy was as eccentric as they come), but because of other details that have not been released in the press.

Even nicer hotels in the States don't have the height to hang your self in, nore are the bars strong enough to hold the concentrated weight (they weren't strong enough to hold me doing chin ups when I was younger & racing, plus I had to bend my knees up:D)

We know DC liked black leather:D

Even 4 feet - probably even 3 - is enough to hang oneself if one passes out with a noose around one's neck.

Quite agree. Let's not dance with glee around Carradine's grave until the facts become known. Some of you guys sound pretty cavalier about a possible homicide.

it can be done.

I'm sure if you had that objective in mind, there are several ways of suspending the full length of your body. For example, most hotels rooms have a door height of 6'-8". However, some of the swankier hotel doors "hang" at 7', some at 8' for you taller types.

I worked in the Mid East for a few year in the 80's... not that you can apply my time in the Mid East to David Carradines death but ..

The vacation spot for the job was Bangkok

My roommate went to BKK for a week and never came back... he was found dead in his room in the Dusitani.....

Cold as it seems Americans can pass in Bangkok from natural causes...

Lead poising actually..

Used a pistol to commit suicide..

I just found out last night that a friend did this earlier this week:( Actually, while I was in surgery) a good guy too, just opened a bar last year, only 46, but looked 30...

R.I.P. Rocky:(

speeder 06-06-2009 09:14 PM

100% it wasn't suicide. That I can promise you.

the 06-07-2009 07:02 AM

no one thinks it was a suicide.

Joeaksa 06-07-2009 08:06 AM

So when is "the rest of the story" going to come out?

speeder 06-07-2009 08:50 AM

Hard to say. Sometimes it never comes out, other times fairly soon.

As for no one saying it's suicide, 3 days ago everyone believed it was including the family.

the 06-07-2009 08:53 AM

that was 3 days ago, before the details like the rope on his nuts came out.

URY914 06-07-2009 09:04 AM

"...his nuts came out."

Bad wording

It may be starting. I was just listening to a local radio station and " hung fu's " wife # 4 is stating he was into strange and dangerous sex practices including incest in the 4 years they were married  If true it may be part of the puzzle that is his death.

And ex-wives are never bat-shyt crazy liars in divorce papers. Everyone knows that.

One other thing that came out, there was a wig and black fishnet stockings found in the room. Unless they were his size, he probably had help.

Its VERY easy to find "help" in BKK if you know what I mean. Animal, vegetable, mineral or human... its all there for a price, and it seems like he found what he was looking for.

Rick Lee 06-08-2009 05:55 PM

I heard the chain or slide lock on the inside of his hotel room door was locked, which would be just about impossible for someone to do and get out of the room.

Did you see "Mr. Brooks"? Costner's character had a nifty device to remove the chain from the outside... just kidding that is probably not the case here.

anyway, perhaps the family should keep the results of their investigation to themselves as they may not like what they find out.
