They are paying for an "investigation," as a paying customer, they will get plenty of theories from the investigator that suit them ok for public release.

It's picture that does not make sense. His hands were bound above his head. How do you tie up your own hands?

ninja's are not just "someone". seriously. they would mess you up for even implying that "impossible for someone" would apply to them.

Yep - but it won't work. I think the public at large has felt for a very long time that DC was a complete freak.

Whatever; four wives, incest, hog tied with his hog tied and found hanged in a Bankok hotel room - need more be said?

You heard that? Wow. The rest of the world heard that A FUKING HOTEL MAID FOUND HIM, I guess she must have been a triple-jointed shape-shifting ninja toad. Where do you get your info? Nevermind, this is harkening back to source-quality issues that I mostly avoid since Wayne split the forum and I don't visit the other side much. (Ever).

You guys are worse than a bunch of old broads around a sewing circle.

You think a maid couldn't have found him if that interior lock were engaged? What, she'd just go away and come back the next day, find it still locked, go away and not bother reporting anything? I have no idea if that's accurate info. I just heard it on the news last night. If it's true, it makes it kinda hard for him to have not been alone.

Gasp! So the maid did it? My goodness! Pass me my number 9 sewing needle, dear. :D

Ya got me there. I forgot that luxury hotel rooms in Bangkok don't have windows or balconies. No way for a ninja to escape except through an A/C vent.

And he was found the first morning that he was late for work, after being out w/ co-workers the night before. So much for the "returning maid" angle.

Don't quit your day jobs.

Last night, a so-called "security" expert on FauxNews said that the metal door lock was engaged. Not sure how he's involved with the case. Most are familiar with this type of dead bolt (there's no exterior method of disengaging it that I know of), so it would be impossible for a cleaning lady to just walk in with a pass key and discover the body as reported earlier. Maybe they simply accessed the room through a pass-through to the next room that some hotels have.

O'Reilly also mentioned the "Thais" compromised the crime scene. I guess he meant the local investigators and hotel personnel and not the city of Bangkok.

Me thinks not all the facts presented are indeed facts. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what sticks.

Why would a closet have an inside lock?

Joeaksa 06-09-2009 11:45 AM

Hey Experts! How many of you have been to BKK? Know much about their hotels?

I have this funny feeling that out of the 92 posts on this thread that about 3-5 people have ever been there and know the area. Its a different world there in many, many ways. Every hotel is different and in this country they are not like those in most other parts of the world.

BTW, there is a way to open the door locks from the outside and hotel staff know very well how to do it.
