1. It's a long way to 20,000, dude... please slow down and try to enjoy the trip, smell the roses, etc.
2. How much coffee have you had in the last two hours? 3. I'm sort of new here, but it sounds like people are beginning to be concerned about you... can you provide a reason you are posting like a MADMAN?

I am currently researching these...Urals, Dneprs, Chang Jiangs. Anything else out there worth considering? BMW seems kind of steep price wise.

Another thing to think about is resale value. The BMW will hold onto its value a lot better than any copy.

Can you get those Russian or Chinese bikes registered in CA? We have emissions in Phoenix on bike older than five years.

I was thinking they are based on a 1938 design, they can probably be fixed with bailing wire, duct tape and gum.

some guy in marina del rey tried to start a chang jiang shop. i saw the thing decaying on the showroom floor. the metal was so bad it looked like a mouthful of bad teeth.
urals have been getting better the past few years. still think you could be better off just getting a real old beemer.

I've got one and it's my daily driver (rider) when my MIC Citroen POS breaks down. And besides I think the CJ750 is cool. Parts are abundant. They've been around for decades. Always bring a toolkit with you.
