Smile Banishment- A delicate question.

What does one do with all the free time resulting from a ban?

Or achieve 20,000+ posts and break three laptops in the process.

Say, you can't post, can you, if you've been banned? What were you banned for?

I've been considering a self banning, but then I'd be forced to work or something.

Someone on the "chest" thread. He posted a pic of 2 girls, uh, going at it. Don't worry, the pic is gone, just as he.

It's a well-known fact that the banned turn into zombies.

I was curious about the banning due to the pics as well.

If one was banned and on dynamic DSL which gives a new IP when the modem is restarted, what would stop one from creating a new user profile with the new IP?

That can happen - a user gets banned and creates another alias with an IP close to the original. Then that user gets banned again, creates an alias, gets banned again.... and so on, until one side or the other gives up the fight. I never give up.

This happend with the Alina troll who was on the 944 boards. I think she was up to 6 or 7 banned aliases last I checked...

We can ban on IP's as well as search on partial ip's, so it isn't too hard to track trolls down. Also - a leopard can't change its spots - neither can a troll change his modus operandus.

For the sake of posterity and archeology, can we have a list of the users sent to "Banned Island" ?

I hear that Ban Island is ACTUAlly the far side of fantasy Island, you know the side that isn't in the brochueres...It is akin to the ilsand of misfit toys.
