				Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Haven't seen it yet - loved the first one. The reviews are terrible but the box office is a smash. Anyone see it this weekend?

Saw it yesterday. The military sequences are mind-bogglingly unrealistic, but it was a 'fun' movie.

I didn't like the first one. I found the rendering of the robots to be rather "indistinct". It was hard to make out their faces. Then Megan Fox went out and opened her ignorant mouth and she is now on the list of high-and-mighty celebrities that don't get my money.

Something along the lines of wishing the Transformers were real so that they could kill all of the "ignorant" rednecks.

As a newly ignorant red neck, I resent that.

ironic. us hillbillies are typically the only ones to show up at a film like this. i'm going solo on this one. i dont want my wife to get annoyed when i "gasp" during that scene where megan is straddling the bike, wrenching on it in the daisy dukes...that chick got hit with pure luck, coming out good looking. that is all she has.

Horrid flick. The writing was so bad, it would have failed a creative writing class at a community college. Megan Fox is hot. Period. The robots are well animated, but they transform so fast that you cannot see what they are actually doing. Half the time I had no idea which robot was good versus bad. Popcorn movie, with lots of effects. NOTHING MORE. I read a review that summed it up perfectly. It has some NSFW language: http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/06/bonus_robs_transformers_2_faqs.php

funny... I noticed the same thing! I suspect it requires a lot less processing time to render the graphics if they "blur" things. It was annoying at times.

watch CG from a few years back. they didn't have motion blur. and everything looked weird. now they ramp up the settings to the point where the whole movie makes me think i need new glasses. that and a little blur covers up a whole lot of bad robot design.

p.s. i don't get megan fox. she is pretty. but this is los angeles, and the girl who brings my coffee every morning is at least as good looking. and since my coffee girl manages to seem happy to see me every day, i'm gonna say she is a better actress too. why is megan fox a star?

I am not a big fan of the Transformers, but I thought that this movie was about fifty times better than the first movie. That's not saying a lot, but I think if you liked the first movie, this one will make your day. | ||

Same here. I have better than average eyesight with my glasses on and the first movie went between making me think I was going to get a headache from feeling "out of focus" to making me think I was going to get motion sick--and I don't get motion sick. (Somewhere there is a home movie of me trying to drink a beer in 7 waves on Lake Superior in a 20-foot boat going full speed. I was irritated that the waves kept knocking the beer out of the can before it reached my mouth.)
