He's quite the showman, but it seems like he controls the situation too much, like a magician would.

I'm sure a google search will reveal enough info on this guy to verify his authenticity, or reveal him as a magician. It's pretty cool regardless.

Oh, I didn't mean to insinuate that he was a magician, just that he uses the same showmanship techniques. This link pretty much says he's full of schit. http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1069253/index.htm

It's pretty clear to me that is not a single action Colt. I don't know squat about guns, but he did not pull the hammer twice. The gun seem to have shot one round after the first, but the gun has to be fixed so that it fires the 2nd round on its own.

Looks like an excellent way to end up shooting yourself in the foot or leg.

ain't no way you can have any regular handgun fire twice in .02 of a second, let alone aim it twice in that time that's the speed an M61 gatling gun fires it's rounds, and that gun was at least designed for it, unlike the pistol this guy uses.

An M61A1 at max rate fires 6,060rds per minute, or 101 per second.

It is a just a single action Colt. It has been modified only to allow "thumb cocking while trigger is held back", which is a simple modification. What you are not seeing or do not realize is that his right hand only draws and holds down the trigger. His left hand fingers pull the hammer back which when released falls under spring pressue to fire the round. The next finger repeats this action. As the second clip shows you can do this for as many times as you have fingers on your non drawing hand. Thats the trick, nothing more. Also, blanks have no recoil so there is no recovery between shots. Normal repeating firearms must load, fire, eject, and load again to have rapid fire. In this case there is nothing but hammer cocking, hammer falling, pre-loaded cylinder indexing to be accomplished. That all takes just hundreds of a second to do. This sport has been around for some time and these competitors all are very quick.

.2 seconds / round ain't the same as .02 seconds a round it's 10 times slower the link posted by the OP, states it was done in .02 of a second, and i'm saying it can't be done with a pistol hell, no man can move his finger twice on a trigger in that amount of time, even if a pistol could .

Right. Everything is precisely spaced out and it's all muscle memory. He isn't aiming, he's simply executing a learned routine. If you moved one target one foot to the right, he wouldn't be able to hit it.
