You guys do what you want... But I won't be going to vegas until I'm 21. If I'm making the trip I want to be able to do it all.

Trust me, if you are over 18, we can find several ladies in Vegas who will be very glad to help you "do it all" time after time after time, or until your money runs out. :)

Oh I have no doubt about that aspect.... I know you lot will want to go bar crawling though... And I couldn't join in those festivities....

Dang! An ultimate Pelican get together... I'm in Cali. and that is still sounding tempting. (Even though I am Porsche'less for the moment) Are Toyota Tacomas still welcome? ;)

women!

A woman was in town on a shopping trip. She began her day finding the most
perfect shoes in the first shop and a beautiful dress on sale in the second.

In the third, everything had just been reduced by 50 percent when her mobile
phone rang.

It was a female doctor notifying her that her husband had just been in a
terrible car accident and was in critical condition and in the ICU. The
woman told the doctor to inform her husband where she was and that she'd be
there as soon as possible.

As she hung up she realized she was leaving what was shaping up to be her
best day ever in the boutiques. She decided to get in a couple of more
shops before heading to the hospital. She ended up shopping the rest of the
morning, finishing her trip with a cup of coffee and a beautiful chocolate
cake slice, compliments of the last shop. She was jubilant.

Then she remembered her husband. Feeling guilty , she dashed to the
hospital.

She saw the doctor in the corridor and asked about her husband's condition.
The lady doctor glared at her and shouted, 'You went ahead and finished your

shopping trip didn't you! I hope you're proud of yourself! While you were
out for the past four hours enjoying yourself in town, your husband has been

languishing in the Intensive Care Unit! It's just as well you went ahead
and finished, because it will more than likely be the last shopping trip you
ever take! For the rest of his life he will require round-the-clock care.
And he will now be your career!'

The woman was feeling so guilty she broke down and sobbed.

The lady doctor then chuckled and said, 'I'm just pulling your leg. He's
dead.. Show me what you bought.'

Actually I'm avoiding the typical habit that many men (and women I suppose) get into with bar crawling in similar situations. I do go out to eat and sit at the bar especially if I'm solo. More often than not you meet new people or run into old acquaintnances.

But, Sid, if you come down for a guys nite out I'll say I'm your parent or guardian...law allows 18-20 y.o.'s to drink beer/wine in parent/guardians presence.;)

Jim,

Whats going to happen with the bar/restaurant that you guys own together?

Agree that crawling the bars is nothing but a waste of time. You might find a friend for the night but usually not for your your lifetime. Plus its usually not good for getting your head back in the right place...

Joe

porsche4life 09-01-2010 01:20 PM

Jim I'm not worried about my age if I come down there... Just vegas....

Legal counsel... Legal guardian... Whats the difference? ;)

Come-on guys, a bit of Vegas would do everyone good.

Seriously, think about it...

Hugh R 09-01-2010 02:50 PM

Joe, I'd be up for Vegas, missed the other ones. Still haven't met you in person, but have been in a few countries the same time as you.

when we went to western pacific, married guys competed with non married guys for the prettiest whores. most of the time. some times, we pooled our money, and just shared one whore.

Interesting thing happened this evening. If you guys recall from other threaeds, we had a cat, Bella, that we brought with us to this house when we bought it two years ago. After about 2 months she went almost totally feral refusing to come inside and eventually abandoning us in favor to run with neighbor's outside cats. She hasn't come near us or in our yard for atleast 12-15 months.

Tonite I was sitting in the bedroom with the doors open to the deck. Bella just walked right in, over to the bathroom and hopped up on the counter to drink from the vanity sink faucet like she last did over 2 years ago.

Perhaps the absence of estrogen around here now makes her feel more welcome:D

I like it.

You got a "new" friend. (I hope you like cats.)
