Morning, Vas. Night Vas.

Morning, Rick. Good to hear you are ok. Thanks for the note on the Boxcar!

G, given the architecture of my room it is impossible to turn the screen away from the room without completely redecorating. Which of course is a possibility.. :)

Just to keep up the revs preventing the thread from stalling.

In order to keep the minimum level of 100 posts/day.

Continuing the monologue.

Amazing really. A Ford GT40 won Le Mans four years in a row 1966-69. Who would have figured that.

Air at sealevel and at 25°C weighs 1.18 grams per liter.

livi 08-24-2011 03:54 AM

Extraordinary!

livi 08-24-2011 03:55 AM

Thanks for posting, by the way! :)

You're welcom

Geronimo '74 08-24-2011 04:10 AM

I mean welcome

Geronimo '74 08-24-2011 04:10 AM

Sorry, typo...

Geronimo '74 08-24-2011 04:17 AM

supposedly, if you make a room, with the same ground surface as the Eifel tower and also as high as the Eifel tower. The air inside that room would weigh more than the Eifel tower. (about 125m squared and about 330 m high)

(I heard that on Mythbusters, but my calculations say otherwise)

I contemplated getting a cheap Boxster. Like Markus, I would never get rid of the paid for 911. I can't part with my El Camino, I have had it longer than my wife. That would mean I have to park the Boxster outside, and I just don't need three cars for me and one for the wife.

Morning Glen,

good to see you're here. Now I can close up shop here and head home.
I know the thread is in good hands... :)

GH85Carrera 08-24-2011 04:51 AM

I did not know I was nicknamed Allstate. :)

Have a good Humpday evening.

livi 08-24-2011 05:40 AM

Morning, Glen!

I am relieved to hear that most Porsche drivers seem very positive toward the Boxster. On some other Porsche forums there are a lot of negative feelings regarding both the design and dreaded IMS failures.

BTW, may I suggest you post all your pictures here rather than on the 'random pics' thread. :D

I have ridden in Mikes car... I would already have one if I didn't have the Corolla for a DD....
