Hey rick... Whats it like to change the fuel sending unit on an E36.....

Oh and D, I'm about 99% sure I had an asthma attack while driving home today.... Going to the doc this week...

Rick V 01-07-2012 10:32 AM

Just pull the bottom of the back seat and there it is Sid. Simple job, even the idiots I work with could do it

porsche4life 01-07-2012 10:34 AM

Thank god....

I'm used to the chevy trucks, you have to pull the bed, or drop the tank....

porsche4life 01-07-2012 10:39 AM

I need to get my cable and upload some pics... A VERY nice 356 showed up at breakfast after Glen and Richard left....

Its the daily driver outlaw car for the Dr that also owns the oldest 356 in the US...

Domestics suck. When I was working on Cadalic I asked the field service rep why they built crap like this and his answer was they are designed to be manufactured and not repaired. I told him they should design crap that doesn't break then and I would make a living simply doing service work. That was the beginning of the end for me and detroit

Rick V 01-07-2012 11:25 AM

What? I can't hear you.

Evening guys. We took advantage of the nice warm temps to go to the downtown mall and have dinner outside. It was a nice relaxing time

vas930 01-07-2012 03:18 PM

Sounds nice, Rick.
Wine and dine the woman.

Rick V 01-07-2012 03:27 PM

We have been together for over 27 years, I think I have it figured out.:D

svandamme 01-07-2012 03:27 PM

how long did it take you to do so?

Rick V 01-07-2012 03:30 PM

Over 27 years

svandamme 01-07-2012 03:37 PM

lol

vas930 01-07-2012 03:39 PM

Stijn.

Rick, all jokes aside, what you said about finding the perfect woman is so true.
People waste to much time on all that soul mate crap.
Around the world we could have a good relationship with many women.
No such thing as "the one".
27 years, well done ,Sir.
Thats not easy.
But sounds like it has been worth it. :)

svandamme 01-07-2012 03:41 PM

I decided the learning curve was way to steep.
Not worth it for me to keep bumping my head against the same damned rock.

Rick V 01-07-2012 03:44 PM

It has been great and it has been the most pain I could ever imagine. Now that the kids are out of the house and we can do for us it is getting better

vas930 01-07-2012 03:47 PM

I finshed making my fog light blanks.
Came out perfect.
Not bad for a clown with a hacksaw and file.
Now to have them painted or something.
