My little girl knows how to ride a bike! While waiting for the turkey to cook we took a family walk around the block. The kids insisted on bringing riding toys. I turned around, and my daughter was riding all by herself on two wheels. She couldn't do that reliably last weekend when we went up and down the sidewalk in front of our house (maybe 5 feet, maybe to the next driveway). But now she thinks she's all hot stuff because she can ride a two wheeler.

Did you go on the Turkey drive this morning?

Flieger 11-22-2012 04:09 PM

That's awesome. :)

Congrats on this milestone! Has she started to ask for a set of keys to the 930 yet?;)

do your hands feel like two balloons?

Just watched the pumpkin chunkin show. One of the contestants has spent over 160 grand on his chunking machine. Wow, that is beyond crazy.

I think I should try to go there next year, its not that far away from me really, but it usually looks damm cold, I love those huge trebuchets some of them use to toss the Pumpkins! They are so cool

Yes. It was good to see some old faces. It was good to stretch the 930's legs out a bit, though I did have one big tankslapper.

I think D is familiar with tank-slappers, being a motorcycle rider. I believe he wanted more juicy details on Noah's adventures. :)

G'day all,

Sounds like you all had a great day of celebration.

Looks like I'm settling in for a quiet night at work. Freaking hot day today, 39C, and getting hotter for the weekend.

Although, do like it when it's hot - went down town today and had lunch. Lot's of young ladies in short skirts :)

slodave 11-22-2012 11:26 PM

Hiya, Jeff.

Outback Porsche 11-22-2012 11:40 PM

G'day Dave,

Recovering from the big day?

slodave 11-22-2012 11:43 PM

Not really. :) It's hard to over eat at my relatives house. There are so many, that the room becomes very small and I'm usually set in the middle, where once seated, you don't get up again. :D The tables were really close together this time. When everyone around me got up at the same time, I could sneak out.

Outback Porsche 11-22-2012 11:59 PM

Sounds like a big event, how many people we talking about?

slodave 11-23-2012 12:08 AM

I think it was just under 30 this year. There were a couple of cousins and their families that were up North this year. The tables just seemed to be pushed closer together this year and I was in the middle of the row where we are back to back.
